VTA-WEBMON/GSM/BD
lift monitor and remote alarm system utilizing the GSM/GPRS network or
Ethernet
|
The VTA-WEBMON/GSM/BD system has been
designed for the monitoring of the lift status. It
simultaneously implements the service of the remote alarm signal
and the voice communication, required by the standard EN 81-28.
The report on the lift state is transferred to the service
centre via Internet. WEBMON alternatively can be configured
(ordered) for the GSM/GPRS network or Ethernet data transfer.
The special software application WEBRMAN, running on PC in the
service/alarm centre, analyses the current status of the lifts,
and informs immediately the operator in the centre about any
serious problem detected on the lift, i.e. about the activation
of the alarm system. |

Remote alarm signal
In case of emergency the information on
pushing the ALARM button, installed in the lift car, together
with the address of the lift are immediately transferred to
the alarm centre. The operator of a 24-hour alarm centre can
establish the voice communication with the person(s) stacked
in a lift car. As soon as the alarm centre accepts and
confirms the alarm signal, the light indication in the lift
car signalises the confirmation. In case of communication
failure between the lift car and the alarm centre WEBMON
ensures a direct connection of the lift car to one of the
other predefined phone numbers.
Remote Alarm system features:
-
pushing of the ALARM button activates the
alarm system,
-
voice communication between the lift car
and the alarm centre or the service person,
-
flashing LED signalises in the lift car
the connection to the alarm centre in progress,
-
light indication in the lift car
acknowledges the receipt of the alarm in the service centre,
-
button for the deactivation of the ALARM
state is installed (the deactivation of the ALARM is
performed after the stacked persons have been relieved),
-
prevention of the unreasonable using of
the ALARM button,
-
regular automatic checking of the system
function,
-
checking of the power supply,
-
optional voice communication to the lift
machine room,
-
connection of up to eight single lifts is
possible.

Monitoring of the lifts
WEBMON implements the monitoring of the
state and function of the connected lifts. It collects,
analyses and transfers the data on lifts regularly to the
service centre. The data transfered to the centre is
available on the Internet pages, and all the authorised
persons can view it (e.g. house-owner, lodgers etc.). WEBMON
can monitor the lift control systems that are equipped with
the communication line RS485 (or RS232). Beta Control lift
control system VTA971 communicates to WEBMON using the
proprietary communication protocol EASYCALL. Using that way
of the monitoring enables:
-
keeping of
the record on the lift operation,
-
keeping of
the record on runs to each particular stage/station,
-
keeping of
the record on the history of error reports,
-
remote
reading of the lift control system parameters etc.
